Career Transition Coaching

 

Career Transition Package #1

 

Target Audience: A service employers can provide for employees that are being let go due to cause, restructuring, or downsizing but want to include as a part of a severance.

  • On site meeting with employee
  • All conversations with company personnel
  • Individual career counseling and coaching 1-5 hours                                                                           
  • ASSESSMENT OF SKILLS: Strengths, interests, abilities, work values, goals, geographical and salary needs.
  • RESUME AND COVER LETTERS: We provide instruction on writing a resume and cover letters.  We advise the employee on the style of resume that best fits their goals for future employment.  We insure that the finished product is highly professional and best displays the employee’s skills and achievements. We create “on-line” ready resumes and encourage association with social media such a LinkedIn and Indeed.
  • INTERNAL NETWORK / JOB SEARCH: Essential to the internal job seeking process is having a clear understanding of the newly created positions and how one’s skill set can be transitioned. We coach and support the employee how to construct a resume that best fits their transferable skills.
  • INTERVIEWING: We teach all the essentials of effective interviewing as well as provide practice interviews and helpful critiques.
  • COACHING: The employee is coached on issues like motivation, support and review of networking, interviewing, and other job seeking activities.  The resume may need to be refocused for different employers.
  • MARKETING ONESELF: We coach the employee how to best present and sell oneself whether it is for developing a network, designing their own business, assembling a portfolio, or interviewing.
  • NEGOTIATING: We help the client to understand what aspects of a position and benefits can be negotiated.  We assist the client to define and think through their needs for a new position and how to effectively approach a potential employer.

 

Career Transition Package #2

 

Target Audience: When an employer is having a Reduction-In-Force (RIF)and wants to provide Career Transition Services for impacted employees.

  • On site meeting with employees on Day of RIF
  • All conversations with company personnel
  • Group career transtion training  4 hours       
  • Individual followup transition coaching (in person, telephone, FaceTime, etd.)                                                                   
  • ASSESSMENT OF SKILLS: Strengths, interests, abilities, work values, goals, geographical and salary needs.
