Arlene Silva is the passion, energy, and driving force behind ContinuityWorks. She has been a Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) certified by Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRII) for 15 years and has over 27 years of organizational and program development, consulting and business continuity management experience.  Arlene’s mission is to serve people and businesses to help them grow, survive, and thrive... regardless of threats, risks, and challenging circumstances.

In business continuity, she found the home she was seeking for her organizational development, program design, mentoring, and process improvement skills and experience. Arlene’s experience in leadership, mentoring, and consulting work with over 60 companies in a broad range of industries and types, from solopreneurs, mom & pops, and all-related owner / partner combinations, as well as Fortune 500 companies, brought her to National Life and Vermont, where Arlene designed and implemented every component of the enterprise-wide BCM Program for a Fortune 1000 company, overseeing and training over 300 BC managers, planners, and support team members in the process. An arduous process that informed her stream-lined and time efficient approach to BCM Program design and implementation.
