Then there continues to be a focus on technology integration. Data used to be "King", however the King will now be who controls the integration. Cloud integration is on the rise, as many HR Tech solutions grow their APIs and marketplaces, employers have more flexibility to choose the solutions that align best with their requirements, without having to "settle" for all HCM modules due to a lack of confidence in integration.
The 2020 virtual HR Technology Conference was one of the most successful online events we attended throughout this unusual (but interesting) year. The industry’s response to the event was so positive that the organizers have already announced another virtual conference for this spring while holding out hopes for an in-person event in the fall of 2021. With so much uncertainty facing the HR sector, we are working hard to prepare for what’s to come and our “new normal.” Of course, technology is a big part of that effort. However, as Kimberly Cassady from Cornerstone stated, the “new normal is old news.” Whatever is ahead for the HR technology industry, Hickok & Boardman’s HR tech consulting team will work diligently to help guide our clients.
